Coconut Birthday Cake

This past weekend I made this delicious cake for a birthday. I got the recipe from Always With Butter, which never disappoints. It was moist and delicious and the taste of coconut was not too overwhelming.

It is far from being a 0 calorie treat. I would prefer not to admit how many sticks of butter went into making this cake.

I found these white pearls in a cookware store near my house, and they taste awful are edible, but after I put them on, the cake seriously looked like a wedding cake so I am very glad I got these black and white candles.

Black always makes everything prettier.
