Culinary Adventures: Petit Crenn

Last night, I discovered the recently opened Petit Crenn, new restaurant by the genius behind Atelier Crenn: Dominique Crenn. The price point is slightly more reasonable at $72 dollars for a nightly prix fixe menu. The cuisine is inspired by Chef Crenn's family from Brittany, which also happens to be where most of my family is from. Needless to say, I was excited to discover this place to get a little taste of home.

I loved these pretty plates.

The decor was so reminiscent of the little beach side town in Bretagne. It made me feel right at home.

The amazing beurre de baratte with fleur de sel. We asked for more at least 3 times throughout dinner.

Anchovies drenched in oil...yummm

Pretty table settings

The evenings dessert: Tarte Tatin with sage

Red Brocade

I found this dress at Zara a few weeks ago and am obsessed! I have a feeling this is going to one of my favorite pieces this winter. It's finally starting to get a little cooler here in San Francisco so I was able to take these little booties back out as well :) They are so old but I just love them. So old in fact, I think I may have bought them in London when I was at university...

I promise I wasn't on drugs when I took this photo...that's just my face :) Challenges of being a style blogger while also being terribly not photogenic.

Beauty - Cold Weather Favourites

Dry and dull skin are an unfortunate reality of the winter freeze.
Here are my favourite remedies to combat the cold.

Lancome Huile Douceur Oil Cleanser
This removes makeup so thoroughly and delicately and leaves your skin fantastically smooth

Aesop Fabulous Face Oil
I love to use this product before bed. The light texture is deceivingly hydrating and detoxifying.

Aesop Rejuvenate Intensive Body Balm
$97 (large tube)
This very rich balm is intensely hydrating but absorbs quickly into your skin. The notes of vanilla and sandalwood are the perfect winter scent.

Guerlain Meteorites Perles Light-Diffusing Perfecting Primer
Lovely fresh scent and gives your dull skin an undeniable twinkle
